1st May 2020 will mark the centenary of the first Birmingham League fixture at Sandwell Park but, sadly, the event will go unheralded due to the Covid-19 pandemic which has resulted in the suspension of all cricket until further notice. West Bromwich Dartmouth's plans to celebrate the event have been scuppered but a short history of cricket at Sandwell Park has been prepared for publication in The Black Country Bugle and the Blackcountryman magazine.
