The Management Board of the League is saddened to hear of the passing of one it's longest serving Vice-Presidents John (Johnny) Allen at the age of 95. He was President of the League in 1989.
A great supporter of the League and its member clubs, he served West Bromwich Dartmouth as a player and Committee member before joining Moseley where he became a long time stalwart of that club. He, also, found time to work on the ground at Old Edwardians and for many years was a member of the Warwickshire CCC General Committee.
Hi funeral will take place on Thursday 13th April at 12 noon at Robin Hood Cemetery, Streetsbrook Road, Shirley B90 3NL and afterwards at Moseley Cricket Club, Streetsbrook Road, Shirley B90 3PE.
