League President Malcolm Whitehall donated £1000 from the league's charitable fund to the Josh Baker Foundation (JB33) on Friday.

The presentation took place during a commemorative match played at Josh's first club Astwood Bank between a JB33 Foundation XI and a Worcestershire XI.

Astwood Bank's Sambourne Lane ground has also been renamed as 'the Josh Baker Oval' in a permanent tribute to the 20-year-old who passed away suddenly in May 2023.

Josh took 70 wickets in 47 appearances for Worcestershire and also represented Kenilworth Wardens in the BDPCL.

The JB33 Foundation charity set up by Josh's parents Paul and Lisa in his honour supports local cricket.
